The SVANOVIR IBR-Ab is a field-proven, indirect ELISA for detecting antibodies to Bovine Herpesvirus Type 1 in bovine serum, plasma and milk samples (individual and bulk tank milk). Monitoring programs benefit from the high sensitivity and specificity of the test, enabling detection of BHV1 even in herds with low prevalence. The assay is a valuable tool for herd screening and individual testing of dairy and beef cattle, delivering accurate results.

Features and benefits:

  • Well-balanced sensitivity and specificity, providing accurate results for monitoring and control programs
  • Convenient for large-scale testing – easily adaptable for automation; standardized against EU standard EU 1, EU 2, EU 3
  • Dual functionality – the same assay tests both serum and milk samples (individual and pooled)
