The virotype Mix + IC(TAMRA)-RNA contains synthetically derived nucleic acids and enables real-time amplification of viral RNA and the Internal Control RNA.

The virotype Mix +IC(TAMRA)-RNA provides multiplex real-time RT-PCR detection of one or more nucleic acid targets and the heterologous Internal Control using dual-labelled probes. The Internal Control RNA is already added to the virotype Mix +IC(TAMRA)-RNA and will result in positive signals in No Template Control (NTC) reactions. Missing Internal Control signals in the sample reaction may indicate the presence of inhibitors or other issues with the sample reaction.
