The virotype PPRV Positive Control can be used in real-time RT-PCR targeting Peste des Petits Ruminants Virus (PPRV) RNA. 

The product is non‑viable, non‑replicating, non‑infectious, not derived from any pathogen or clinical material, and does not contain homologous genes or nucleic acids capable of producing infectious virus or expressing toxins.
